How many people can join a conference call?

We don’t impose a limit on the number of participants on any of our plans.  You’re welcome to invite as many callers are you’d like.  In our experience, it works best to use “lecture mode” for calls with more than 10 people.  This mutes everyone by default, but they can unmute themselves using *6 or be unmuted by the moderator from the dashboard.

What happens if I exceed my allotted minutes?

If you are on a paid plan, you can exceed your minutes as much as you would like.  Overage is billed at the end of the billing period, at the applicable overage per minute rate for your plan.

How do I schedule a conference call?

Once you have your dedicated conference number, just have your callers call that number and they will be joined together.  By default PINs are turned off, so there’s no code for your callers to dial.  You can turn PINs on in the “Line Settings” section if you’d like.

If you anticipate that you might have overlapping meetings, we recommend adding additional lines.  Many of our customers add a dedicated conference line for each member of their team members.

Do you have global toll-free conference lines?

Unfortunately, this just doesn’t exist.  Toll-free numbers are available in many countries, and you can add multiple toll-free numbers.  For example,  you could add a toll-free number in France and the US.  Callers could dial the toll-free number in their respective region and they would be connected together with all participants.

I would like to upgrade to a paid plan. How do I do this?

Here are the steps you should follow to upgrade:

  1. Login to your Branded Bridge Line account using your email address as your login
  2. Select “Plans and Billing” on the left hand side
  3. Pick the plan that fits best
  4. Enter your credit card information
  5. Select “Add Card”

You’ll be all set after that.  You will keep your phone number and any call records and recordings if you had that option enabled.

Can other people in my company share the account?

Of course.  All of our plan levels include enterprise user management tools to enable you to set up “subusers” who can have varying degrees of permission and access to different lines (completely flexible.)  These users log in with their own email address, and will see a Dashboard reflective of their permission level.
